Healthy Eating and Meals Provided

We at Treasured Tots strive to encourage healthy eating, as a nutritious diet helps children to concentrate, gives them energy to play and learn, and is the foundation for a happy and healthy life. Therefore we will provide three balanced meals a day to ensure children have a healthy diet. Water and a variety of snacks are also available throughout the day.

We like to work in partnership with parents to encourage good eating habits, we never force children to eat as we feel that this leads to a negative association with food that could have long term affects on their health. We always talk to parents if we feel their child has any food phobias and will work together to come up with a solution.                                              

As we are growing vegetables in the garden we encourage the children to help look after them, pick them when they are ready and prepare them for eating.
