Welcome to Treasured Tots Night Nannying and Specialist Babycare

It is essential that babies and toddlers get enough sleep as it is crucial to brain development. Sleep is one of the three things I consider to be the most important in your child’s development (Sleep, Feeding and Routine). Good sleeping routines are just as important as feeding your child. Babies and children who do not get enough sleep are tired, irritable and unlikely to achieve their full potential, furthermore parents who do not get enough sleep are likely to have trouble bonding with their baby/babies, be too tired to function during the day and consequently relationships within the family unit become affected.

Night nannying offers care for your newborns (approx 0-16 weeks) and older babies over night while you sleep. Perhaps you need a nights help once or twice a week or even just a one off night where you can sleep soundly knowing your baby or babies are being cared for throughout. Night nannying also offers advice and practical help on how to encourage your older baby to sleep through the night.
Unlike other sleep training manuals and self-help books I see each baby and parents as individuals and devise a sleep training program that is designed to fit around your family. It doesn’t matter whether you breast or bottle feed your baby, I adapt the many techniques, strategies and ideas that I have gained from experience and extensive training to meet your family requirements. I offer advice on various techniques and strategies along with practical at home, hands on help to guide your baby/toddler (and you) to sleep peacefully through the night. I will, with you, devise a routine to tackle your baby’s sleep problems and ultimately get him sleeping soundly though the night. A routine will be designed to fit you and your baby’s needs, finding out which routines and techniques work most effectively within your family.

I will feed, change and settle your baby within the routine you are establishing (or plan to establish). Perhaps you have twins or triplets and need an extra pair of hands to help with the night feeds. I will prepare bottle feeds for the night and the following day, feed your baby, or bring your baby to you if you are breastfeeding. This over night care is also suitable if you are recovering from an illness and/or operation, therefore needing someone to care for your baby overnight while you recover and get back on your feet.
